What I like about having 3 projects is when I get sick of doing something I can change and do something different. Today I have resumed something that was started before I had my hip replaced back in March.
Everything else in this area has been cleaned and painted and ready to go back on.
The last bit is in the wheel hub area.
I have a question for someone in the know.
I want to know if this felt seal is unique to AEC buses or is it a common part you can buy over the counter.
To me being felt it looks like it stops brake dust from getting into the bearings.
If they are hard to get I can clean it up and use it again.
Someone out there would know.

If and when you find a project to work on.
There is nothing like getting experience on how things do what they do by pulling it apart and learning how it works. Never be affraid to experiment.
One word of advice is to take plenty of photos, that will help your memory putting things back together.
