- Just a little update on this control box.
- I have finally gotten a little part that has been elusive for years.
- This humble little red coloured glass reflector or shade is the reason I haven't finished off the box.
- The original one that was in it was cracked and a replacement has been hard to come by.
- A blanking plate will also replace the gauge that shouldn't be there.
- Paul Morton
- Hey Norman, if it is that hard to get you should take a cast of it, then you can just cast one out of resin
- Norman Julian
- Not everyone is as anal as me Paul.
- LOL
- Robert Stevenson
- Norman Julian doesnt take a whole lot of effort to do.
- Learn a new skill.
- lol
- Bob Gioia
- They originally had an ammeter in the hole but this was removed as they often broke the glass.
- I have actually started fitting volt meters to check that the bus is charging.
- Norman Julian
- I stripped this unit right down to its bare bones and overhauled everything
- Andrew Blacklock
- Leave the gauze in , it be handy
- Norman Julian
- Andrew Blacklock what gauze?
- John Clarke
- I think it's a typo for gauge.
- Norman Julian
- John Clarke
- yeah I think you're right!
