People are saying that like the AEC engines these ones are hard to get parts for.
If these junkers have good engines it might very well be cheaper in the long run to grab them if the owners are abliging

Here is a question not asked very often. For all those in the know did any chassis from any type of bus never actually get bodied?

Definitely happened in the UK.
There is a chassis in a museum that was never bodied.

Many moons a go Auckland ordered the 20 Ansaldo Trolleybuses for their new system, after they cancelled the project they eventually sold the buses to Wellington
and for years a 21st chassis sat up against the wall in Kilbirnie workshops.
