Working on cleaning up these wiper motors.
The finish I have got on the one I started working on is really good and it looks brilliant, but this was never what they actually looked like when new.
Probably more a brushed finish rather than this.
Aluminium is a great product to work with, but you can go too far sometimes.

Today I did a few things.
Firstly, I finished of these 2 wiper motors.
A few parts went astray over the years, so I stole a couple of parts off the Leyland ones and had to see how they were sealed on the outside.
I recycled 4 rubbers from my parts bin to be useful again on 2547.
They wiper arms have to be modified a bit but apart from that they can go back on the bus.
