My very first overhaul on this bus.
Because we are going into winter and the last few days have been minus minimums I was a little concerned about frozen water in the system.
Being outside for now and missing the window for getting her in the shed because of the 50mm of rain we just had I decided to drain the water out.
A pretty simple job normally but this "stop cock" was seized.
By getting a spanner I could undo it from the main pipe and the water came out in a tearing hurry.
I took the tap back to the shed and carefully pulled it apart.
Over the years I have seen all types of taps etc but never this design.
Very well made and simple to overhaul.
It works again now and no water in the radiator or very little anyway to freeze up and cause problems.
