May Building

Norman Julian 25 May
The power will finally be going in the new shed in a weeks time.
There will be a 3 phase outlet for a few machines I have in mind.
I have been making my bus frame fabricator rich for too long.
Sheet folder for one.
There will be plenty of light and plenty of power points.
Bryce Pender As long as the kettle and fridge work
Gregor Neil Robertson
You'll need a couple of apprentices to train up and support you?
Wish I had one.
Getting down undersides is very unwelcome work nowadays (at 77 - I just can't believe it, still too many projects on hand!)
James Webb
Get an old three phase grinder, you will love it.
James Leonard Garrod
Bus B 'n' B?
(Would need another B for Bog though.)
Norman Julian
Just how many of you need to take their meds.

Norman Julian I'm runnin' a bit Low, anybody got any spares to tide me over?

Make sure you dont skimp on the sub mains feeding the shed.
Voltage drop considerations and further additions you may choose to make.
Your shed is also a good candidate for a good sized solar set up.
You need good sized sub mains to feed back into the grid successfully too.

Another thing I found very useful to do in a lot of sheds, was to fix an extension lead at every door. Secure into place with a cable gland, so it cant be taken from its spot.
Cures the frustration of looking for a lead to do something near the door.
Leads can be a bit like philips head screwdrivers, and my personal favourite for the imperialists, the 7/16 socket or spanner.
Never to be found when you really need one for a quick job.
Must be the boy scout in me coming out.
When camping I always taped a cigarette lighter to a post in the tent on a few feet of string.
Could never find one of them when you wanted one either.
