With this area.
I'm not worrying too much.
I just cleaned out the rust and gave it a dose of rust converter.

Norman Julian

Norman Julian

Norman Julian Trouble is with facebook.
I just shared this to the right group and then if you tried to deleted it from the wrong group it deletes them all so I have to leave it here.

After getting rid of rust and layers of paint off these bumper brackets it was time for primer and paint.
I also shouted some new nuts and bolts.
The alloy plates that should have been right and left was put back the way they should have been.
The drivers side one I just turned around and rounded the edge all the way round to disguise the fact that the plate is wrong.
I had a dry fit of the bar itself.
I left a few minor dents in it to show people that she worked for a living.
LOL.
When I was taking these brackets off I was thinking about the fact that when she retired I was only 4 years old and it was 3 years before the assassination of JFK.
She had to be doing a lot of things right to have survived this long.
