I take my hat of to the people that get behind the wheel of these classics these days in the current Sydney traffic.
I was a bit nervous to start with driving in a new SUV vehicle whereas these guys get behind the wheel the size of a small mini wheel with no power steer and in cramped conditions beside a noisy engine and in some cases a crash gearbox with a bus thats (looking at it from the drivers seat) the size of the lane you are in watching the surrounding traffic and listening for passengers pulling on the cord to stop at the next bus stop, and then in the summertime melting in your seat.
I don't need to find anymore thankyou. You guys know who you are and what I'm talking about.
I could never do it or would have been allowed.
I would have been over the height limit. By the sound of it I would have been content building them instead.

That's half the fun of driving them.
Real "drivers" in those days, not "steering wheel attendants".

I know what 99.9999999% of those drivers would say now if they could see 80 years into the future and it wouldn't be what you just said.
Hahahahaha

I had masochistic tendencies in my driving days LOL

Coming off the M4 onto the narrow minimum width Parramatta Rd lanes in a bus is a bum clenching experience!!
