The last couple of days I have been spending a fair amount of time cutting and sanding the aluminium of this frame.
Every dent is out and most casting irregularities are gone.
I started with 40 grade and finished with 220 grade.
The bottom section of the frame is all have have to deal with now.
I'm going to take the one off the TS7 to finish this one off and get a new one recast.
All the tubes are ready to go back on so that will be my next job.
These radiators take a huge amount of time to do.
I'm still wondering where I go next.
My mind hasn't been in the right place recently but hopefully the enthusiasm is back.

Looking great, hope your ok, I find tinkering with my money pit helps my state of mind but not bank account

Greg McStravick I had an op 6 weeks ago and had a full anaesthetic.
It affects my concentration level I worked out and I just have to wait till it works out of my system which in the past takes quite a while.

I just took the bottom section off the TS7 to put on this to show how it looks.
I may use it on this one to finish it off and in time come across another to put back on the TS7.
You can see the difference between one that has had years of weathering and the one that just had some love and attention given to it.
The middle of the bottom section where the holes are sits a badge that says "TITAN".

Bit more progress done.
I made the gaskets a little thicker than what I took off to make up a bit of difference to some of the corroded edges of some of the tubes.
The bottom section of the radiator frame was sanded till it came up as good as the rest.

Gonna look nice and shiny when it's all back together.
I did the same with my engine covers on my bike.
It come up like chrome after a bit of elbow grease and a heap of sand paper then auto sol. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Lee Hall this is a brushed aluminium finish.
Pretty sure none of them ever were polished.
