Discussion January
- Norman Julian 14th Jan
- What does everyone think of this livery/colour scheme!
- This is the prewar colour scheme!
- I'm strongly considering this.
- There are already 2 buses in preservation with the green/cream livery.
- Rusty Williams
- YES OR RED & CREAM
- Norman Julian
- Rusty Williams not sure that the single deckers were painted red and cream!
- Craig Parkinson
- 1275 is going to be painted in this lively, that's what this image is about.
- Done by David Wilson to show what it will look like.
- Norman Julian
- Craig Parkinson well that sucks!
- That's not what I wanted to hear.
- Craig Parkinson
- It's the reason behind the image.
- Other jobs have to be finished before I start on it.
- David Critchley
- Looking forward to getting 1275 back into the colours we know it carried prior to the war!
- But wow, it would be magic to see two half cab's in this livery together!
- You got to remember that these pre-war buses were hand-crafted, so there is going to be little differences between each of them.
- Garth Taylor
- Yes, that is quite distinctive.
- Norman Julian 19th Jan
- Just to add to the confusion.
- I had forgotten about being given this photo.
- I received this photo a while back to say that this is 1389.
- Different rear window to anything else I have seen!
- Rodney Amphlett
- That looks like an earlier Syd Wood timber framed body.
- M/O plates were often retained by operators and reused.
- The clue is in the square corners of the curved windows.
