What does everyone think of this livery/colour scheme!
This is the prewar colour scheme!
I'm strongly considering this.
There are already 2 buses in preservation with the green/cream livery.
Rusty Williams
YES OR RED & CREAM
Norman Julian
Rusty Williams not sure that the single deckers were painted red and cream!

1275 is going to be painted in this lively, that's what this image is about.
Done by David Wilson to show what it will look like.
Norman Julian
Craig Parkinson well that sucks!
That's not what I wanted to hear.
Craig Parkinson
It's the reason behind the image.
Other jobs have to be finished before I start on it.
David Critchley
Looking forward to getting 1275 back into the colours we know it carried prior to the war!
But wow, it would be magic to see two half cab's in this livery together!
You got to remember that these pre-war buses were hand-crafted, so there is going to be little differences between each of them.
Garth Taylor
Yes, that is quite distinctive.

Just to add to the confusion.
I had forgotten about being given this photo.
I received this photo a while back to say that this is 1389.
Different rear window to anything else I have seen!

That looks like an earlier Syd Wood timber framed body.
M/O plates were often retained by operators and reused.
The clue is in the square corners of the curved windows.

By the writing on the card it looks like the information came from the late Vic Hayes.
I like the photo
